The particle board also known as particleboard, shaving board, chipboard or low density fiberboard. It is a man-made panels that made by cutting various branches and buds, small-diameter wood, fast-growing wood, sawdust, etc. into fragments of a certain size.

Particle board environmental impact
It’s briefly that particle board is a waste-wood product made by heat pressing wood chips and resign together. In order to improve the performance of water proof and fireproof etc., we generally add some chemical material in the produce process. Particleboard can not only improve the utilization rate of waste wood chips, but also protect the environment well. Its production process has little harm to the environment, and it is also an environmentally friendly furniture.
Is particle board furniture safe?
Particle board furniture is very safe. The formaldehyde content is much lower than that of large core board, and it is one of the most environmentally friendly man-made boards.

It is used for cabinet doors, because it has better water-proof, and is relatively firm to assemble, has good bearing capacity, and the door panel is not easy to deform.
